No God? No Problem! ....I'm sorry, come again...

This is Fr. Jonathan Morris on Fox News talking about new ads for the Christmas season, saying that as long as you a good person then there is no problem if you don't have God... I could not imagine my life without God. God is the reason I breathe. God is the reason I love. God is the reason I know good from bad. God is the reason. God is what makes all the above possible. God makes your life possible. God makes my life possible.

God renews.
God restores.
God makes it possible.
God makes you and me who we are
That should be enough to know that he is the reason for everything.

The Mother of God didn't tell us to pray it for nothin'...just sayin'

Our Lady of Kibeho

I am currently reading a book about Our Lady of Kibeho a Rwandan genocide survivor Immaculeé Ilibagiza , I am really intrigued by this apparition of our Lady. The African spirit is something that is deeply moving and something that we can all learn from. They have so little and yet they are so rich in spirit. I know I take for granted that I have running water whenever I need it within just a few steps but for many they walk miles in order to get to the nearest water pump, and even then it may not be drinkable.

Our Lady of Kibeho has a great message for the world: pray, love, repent.

When looking at the world today it is no surprise to me that the message is similar to the messages heard in Fatima, in Medjugorje, in Lourdes...when will we get it? When will I get it? I need to remember to pray each day the rosary (as a good friend said it is the most powerful wireless device in the world).

Forgiveness

If she can forgive the people who killed her entire family while she hid in a bathroom for three months with 7-8 other women, then how dare I not forgive the little insult from a co-worker, or family member, the little hurt of this or that, if she can survive this genocide, and forgive! Then surely I can.

The Lord's prayer says: "forgive us as we forgive those who trespass against us", when we say it, do we really mean it?

Eucharistic Miracle of Lanciano

Eucharistic miracle happened in 8th century in Italy. It happened at Mass after the consecration. Many scientific tests have been conducted on the consecrated Host, it has been determined that it is of "human species". The Flesh consists of the heart muscular tissue. Both the Flesh and Blood have the same blood type: AB, which by the way is the same as what was discovered from the Shroud of Turin.

I just think this is amazing that God gave us this miracle, and in giving this miracle, he literally gave his heart, PHYSICALLY! Isn't God great?

Unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood...

The greatest destroyer of peace is abortion because if a mother can kill her own child, what is left for me to kill you and you to kill me? There is nothing between.
Mother Teresa

Saint Quote

"If anyone comes to me, I want to lead them to Him." --St. Edith Stein

St Gerard Majella -Patron Saint of Expectant Mothers

Pray for all mothers contemplating abortion, that they may see that children are gift from God the Almighty.

St Gerard had a post on his door which read: "Here the Will of God is done, as God wills, and as long as God wills." This is quite an amazing quote, however, it is exactly as we are all to live our lives.

Oh the learning. . .

What a difficult day. . . after coming home. I am learning a very hard lesson, which has included a lot of tears today. I am learning that I need to grieve the loss of being in Texas. I am hurting. . . please pray for me.

It's Tuesday. . . YEAH!

Tuesday's are the second best day of the week, second only to the Day of the Lord, it happens to be my other day off from work. It has become a day out with my dear friend Susie, enjoying a margarita, good Mexican food, and talking about everything from this nations future, to faith, and everything in between. I love Tuesdays! What each Tuesday brings... one never really knows the only staples are Susie, me, Roja's, Margarita's, and good conversation with a great friend, and we are growing, others are starting to join us. . .

I am learning to be more bold, and learning what that saying means: "You must stand for something, or you will fall for everything" (I think that is how it goes).

I am learning to trust the Lord, I am learning to love Him more and more. I am still learning. . .

Oh, the journey. . .

I am not much of a writer, not one for a lot of words, so why a blog? Well, I had a blog before I left for Texas at the end of 2007 when I entered the School Sisters of St. Francis in Panhandle, Texas. After a year and a half, after a brain surgery, after much time spent in bed with awful headaches for nearly a full year I returned to Omaha to begin again, to digest what it is that I learned in Texas, I really learned a lot!

God loves us all so much! He will never leave us alone, He never said it would be easy but He did promise we would never be alone. When I returned, I had no earthly idea what I would do, what would happen with the headaches (I did not have insurance), if I could hold a job, what would happen

I have been home now for five months and I still really don't know what will happen, at this time I am not pursuing the religious life, that may change, but for now I am working in customer service, living at home and REALLY enjoying Tuesday with Susie :-)

What will happen next? Time will tell, and that is what I will share here. God Bless!
